Recipe Inspiration: Simple Lip Gloss Oil

A quick and nourishing DIY lip gloss that adds shine and moisture.

You will need:

• 8.5 g castor oil

• 1 g refined cocoa butter

• 0.5 g vitamin E oil

• Pinch of mica powder (optional)

• 10 ml roller bottle

Method:
Firstly, gently melt the cocoa butter with the castor oil until fully liquid.
Next, stir in the vitamin E oil.
Then, add mica powder if using and mix well.
Finally, decant into a roller bottle and allow to cool.

Note: Cocoa butter may crystallise in cold weather. However, it performs perfectly in warmer conditions. Shake gently if mica settles.
